BE Up Rooted

There are darkest nights when our very guts feel like they are being pulled from us. Something so devastating just shocks us to the core and we feel pain in every vein of our bodies.  There is a medical explanation.  Broken Heart syndrome.  It actually causes physical pain to such a degree you can even be hospitalized and few have even died.  That level of pain is walking in the void where the veil exists but you are still in your body.  It pulls us away from all we planted our roots in and rips us up.  Be that a person or place. Be that a religion or a job. Whatever you planted yourself into and are being ripped out of feels like death and yes in a way it is. That is why it is not a joke or something to take lightly.  You are in the area usually not of your choosing that will separate you from all you thought was real and force you to question reality itself.

Here is the kicker. You trying to keep your roots in the ground is what is making it worse.  When we cling to what is being ripped from us we break ourselves.  And sometimes we have to do it!  I clung to my marriage for dear life.  Not because of codependency but because that was my HUSBAND!!!  I believe in that like I believe in my own breath.  I HAD TO FIGHT FOR IT!  But it ripped me to pieces.  And the physical devastation was just as bad as the wreck to every part of my being.  Nothing I was would ever be the same.  I died on an apartment floor screaming into the ground.  She died there, I had to let those roots be ripped out and accept the transformation.  Let myself recklessly surrender to the death of what was, to remembering what was before and the calling I was being brought to.  Which was always there but the area we root ourselves in or maybe our cultures and environments plant us in.  Will try to change our fruits.

When you are born to grow abundant fruit and feed the starving masses.  YOU WILL NOT REMAIN IN BARREN LAND! Accept how painful that is!! And BE UP ROOTED!
