Just let it burn everything down

I have searched through hundreds of ideas and subjects. Things I have covered in the past but the past needs to go. It is not that I am fully over it all but learning to pull it all a different direction.
At some point we look forward and understand that the progress has little to do with the past. Will I look at the past and pull moments that allow me to use pain for the glory of God? Absolutely but truth does not need references every time. The only thing we need the past for is to show evidence of growth since that moment.
I have experienced abandonment, loss, pain and suffering. But no more or less than you have. It is an easy grab to use something we have experienced to display a relatable story. Then pull at someone's heart. That is a mirroring tactic that is used by so many writers. But I just want to give you as much truth as possible. Because it is the truth and not because it is my truth.
We get kicked around by life and that happens to us all. Where we go wrong is when we do not see the moments that kick us down as the beautiful moments they really are. Even the most revealing painful betrayal is beautiful in the right light.
From abuse comes new ground and that is hard to see when you are in it. But after a volcano changes happen in the soil. Some of the most fertile places on earth are near volcanoes. The destruction covers the ground in nutrients that the soil would not otherwise have. Life prospers in ways that you cannot fathom when you just observe the eruption.
God's beautiful nature mirrors our lives in so many ways and if we are paying close attention we can see it every single day. While we place so much weight on the damage that's been done we refuse to see the benefit of that damage. We listen to social media on loops saying things like “The Narcissistic abuse survivor will never be the same, they will be healing forever” If you are healing forever you aren't healing you are reliving. There is a huge difference
Accepting the eruption is key. The ground has no choice but to accept the chaos that has been delivered upon it. It's not to blame for the destruction, it is not avoiding it. It seems to be a passive receiving victim of such an event. But in reality a million things are working at once to transmute the nutrients into food for the earth.
Right now in whatever storm you are in, that storm can be used for your good. Once you understand that the key is to accept the storm for a blessing and while you are in it just allow it to be. That does not mean pull your blanket over your head till the storm passes. Hold your head high, calm the anxiety about it. And allow it to just be what it is. Then afterwards you observe the transformation it causes. The changes it cause may seem disastrous for a moment. Again accepting the situation for what it is will allow you to move through the season.
Getting stuck looking at the ex’s, and the childhood trauma, the bad experience or the loss. Will only turn that destruction into a hard shell. And while you say you want that you need to understand there is success and beautiful growth in life that will never happen for you because that is the path you choose. “I will never trust again” is a victim's statement. Someone that chooses to allow the destruction to become a shell so they will never thrive fully again. The volcano did not do that to you. YOU did by not accepting the change.
So as hard as it is, take the moment to observe the pain. Dig and find the nutrients in it. Accept that growth and give it light. So you can move forward into a life that you were born to have.
And giving the 1 event you despise the most. The power to take from you for a lifetime.
That choice is on you.
Philippians 3:12–16 12 Not that I have already obtained it or have already become perfect, but I press on so that I may lay hold of that for which also I was laid hold of by Christ Jesus. 13 Brethren, I do not regard myself as having laid hold of it yet; but one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead, 14 I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. 15 Let us therefore, as many as are perfect, have this attitude; and if in anything you have a different attitude, God will reveal that also to you; 16 however, let us keep living by that same standard to which we have attained.
